Most of all when I make the Footlocker All West First team in December in Walnut California, I will thank the BOULDER RUNNING CAMP who helped me become the athlete I am today!! WHAT WOULD ELISE NICKISH DO FOR FREE TUITION?

First off, I'll just start with something partiallyrational
You're probably expecting something completely bizzare and wild, but honestly, all I can do to get to Boulder for free is to promise you four days of intense, positive, and complaint free running. Not only do I love meeting people who share the same love of running that I do, but I can't wait to experience the variety and challenge of Boulder's unique terrain. Coming from the small town of O'Fallon IL, running up assorted hills in neighborhoods is about all the excitement my XC team and I get.

And now for your enjoyment, here are some irrational pledges:


I'll wear the same banana suit I wore to XC state as I run through the neighborhood,
I'll work off the tuition the old fashioned way; scrubbing dishes,
I'll sing the "Barbie Girl" song for the entire duration of a 7 mile run,
ill find a pair od zebra-striped spandex and run through the neighborhood belting out "born to be wilddd!!"

basically, I'll do ANYTHING. Please, vote, and consider me for your free feamle tution.

I will tell you what I won't do... in a poem.

I will not do anything crazy,
I will not do anything lame.
I will not be a slowpoke,
But I will be insane.

I will not be lazy,
I will not be a whimp.
But ladies watch out,
Because I am a pimp.

I will not bitch,
I will not cry.
I will do the work
and just get by.

I like writing poems,
as you can obviously see.
Running is kinda fun,
why not pick me?

So maybe I am not the next Walt Whitman, but gosh darnit! People like me!

I thought long and hard about this, i had some ideas but they werent really original or believable, so...For free tuition to Boulder Running Camps i would get my camcorder and call up my coach and some of my teammates or friends and make a short film based on the book: Running with the Buffaloes. I dont know how crazy that is but i think it is pretty legit. And if i ever get a interview for flotrack at any race i am at i will give a personal shout out to Jay and the the staff at Boulder Running Camps and let the camera know how great it was and how much it helped me improve.
