Event Description
Celebrate the autumn season with a flast, fast, scenic and festive run or walk through Alton Baker Park.  There's something for all runners and walkers of all ages and abilities.  The 8K Run is a part of the USATF-Oregon Grand Prix road race series or events.  The Fall Celebration Run is presented by the Oregon Track Club Masters.

Distances
This event features an 8K run, a 5K Run, a 5K Walk and a 1K Kid's Fun Run.

Location
The event starts and finishes in Alton Baker Park in Eugene Oregon.

Directions
In Eugene, take Coburg Road to Martin Luther King Blvd, turn south onto Country Club, and the park will be immediately on the left.

Entry Fees
8K & 5K events - $15 without shirt, $20 with a shirt through Saturday, September 26.  The Kid's 1K Fun Run entry fee is $3 without shirt, prior to race day.  Add $5 for all entries on race day.

Registration / Packet Pickup
Register in person at the Eugene Running Company (116 Oakway Center), through Saturday, September 26, at 6pm, or on race day from 7:30am-8:45am.  By mail, entries must be postmarked by September 21, 2009.  Click here for an ENTRY FORM.  Click here for ONLINE REGISTRATION. 

Awards
In the 8K and 5K runs, awards will be presented to the top male and female Overall, Masters and Age Group finishers.  The top three male and female finishers in the 5K walk will receive awards.  All participants will also be eligible for random prize drawings.

Age Groups
14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & Over

Kids 1K Fun Run
The Kid's Fun Run is a timed, yet non-competitive event, and is open to all kids, 8th grade and under.  All Fun Run participants must be registered in order to participate.  The school with the greatest number of participants will win a $100 cash prize.
