Who I Am...
Okay so here it is. I come on this site all the time to read articles and I felt it was about time I became a member to support my main man Ross! Although he has delivered me countless ass whoopins over the years, dating all the way back the 90's in my Tri-Valley conference days, I truly feel the work Ross has done in the past few years will be an invaluable tool to all types of athletes for years to come.
I grew up in The Dalles, attended four different colleges in four years and somehow graduated from Southern Oregon University with a Masters in Biology. I'm living in Klamath Falls these days and I work in Health Promotion for the County Health Department. I also teach evening biology courses at the community college. As far as running goes, I've had ups and downs, gutters and strikes. I was never great at anything but I could do just about any race okay. I'm probably most well known for bringing the Beer-Mile to SOU, (which I must attribute my knowledge of to Jeff Sather), but once upon a time I was on an All-American 4X800 relay team. These days things are rough. I had major knee surgery three months ago, and my transition back to running has been tough. I hope to get back into the swing of things before I get to fat... Oh yeah, and I'm a strong supporter of bringing back the "Longhaired Moses"!

And doesn't your body stor recruiting fast-twitch fibers after 2 minutes of activity? This is why I was suspicious of the workouts JJ gave me. Thanx for the advice.
