I'm Ricardo Bell, a graduate from East Carolina University, orginally from North Carolina. I started running when my dad would take us out running around the block after dinner for fun. I competited in my first race when I was in 6th grade for the school's track and field day and won all the events I entered. Since then I have continued to run and the competitive spirit has not dissappeared.
High School: 5 time Letter Winner for Cross Country, Indoor and Outdoor Track, Swimming, and Wrestling. 1995-1996 Wrestling 3A State Team Title, 1995-1996 125 lbs Wrestling State Champion, 1997 Cross Country 3A State Team Title, 1998-1999 800m 3A State Champion, 1999 NC 800m 3A State Record. School Records set in the 800m, Mile, 4x800m.
College: 2000 Junior All-American 800m, 2001 NCAA Indoor National Qualifier, 2003-2004 NCAA 800m Regional Qualifier, 2004 800m Conference USA Outdoor Champion, 2004 NCAA 4x400m National Participate. School Records set in the 800m, DMR, SMR, and 4x800m.

Joined the Indiana Invaders back in 2004 and had a successful run for a couple of years until I was injuried in 2006. Two years later after back surgery and now I'm as strong as I was when I last left off. My goal is to pick up where I left off and continue running competively.
Training is hard enough as it is, but I working nights and training in the morning by myself is even hardier. I like to challenge myself on a day by day to push myself beyond my limits. If training goes as plan then I hope to make it back to US Indoor or Outdoor Nationals again.
