I grew up in Southern California and started running when I was in 7th grade. I loved that I can beat the boys in my P.E. class at the mile and who knew that it would take me this far.  I went to school at Cal State Northridge and studied Child Development and Communication Studies. I now run professionally for Nike and The Santa Monica Track Club. I has been a blast traveling throughout the world and representing the good old U S of A!!!!!! I can't tell you how many lessons I've learned, freinds I've made, and memories that will never be forgotten!

I love running and it is a huge part of my life. Currently I am injured and am going through vigorous physical therapy to get back to normal!! I had surgery at Stanford in the summer of 2007 on my foot and I can't wait to run competitively again! i now work as a Physical Education teacher and also help run the Community Service Program and Windward School in West Los Angeles. I live with my boyfreind Josh who is going to school to become an acupuncturist! I live in Santa Monica and I love dogs!!! They are my favorite. I love the outdoors and I love life. My friends mean the world to me and I have a huge family, two brothers and sisiters (a twin sister). Many people ask me where  I am from...well I am first generation, my grandparents are from Palermo Italy and my father was born in raised in Peru. My mother is from Honduras which makes me a bunch of everything!!Hmm I think I pretty much got everything!! I ccan proudly say that running makes my world go round!!!!!
