Who Are We...

On Saturday, May 17th, the Warsaw Sports Marketing Center at the University of Oregon will host the 3rd Annual Jog for Jim 5K Run/Walk for Parkinson's Disease Research. All proceeds benefit the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Disease Research.                                                                                                                                                          

Come join in the fun! The race takes place on the University of Oregon campus across from the Lillis Business Complex at 13th Ave and Kinkaid.                            

Key Race Details: 

  • Run starts at 8:00 AM, with check-in beginning at 7:00 AM
  • T-shirts, refreshments, the Duck mascot and random prizes provided for race participants
  • Early registration (before May 17th): Adult $15, Student, $10, Child (10 and under) FREE
  • Race day registration (May 17th) : Adult $25, Student $15, Child (10 and under) FREE

Who is Jim?   Jim Warsaw is recognized world-wide for his pioneering work in the sports industry. Jim has always had great vision and a commitment to higher education and the community. Jim's strenghts and commitment to young people inspired him to support the launch of the James H. Warsaw Sports Marketing Center at the University of Oregon, his alma mater. After being diagnosed with early onset Parkinson's in 1993, Jim became a leading national patient advocate. Jim's energy, enthusiasm, and optimism are an inspiration to all.
