Your page is looking good Jon!  Let me know if you have any questions setting things up.  We should be having another site update to fix a bunch of bugs shortly so keep that in mind...  It looks like you have a good thing going!

Who I Am...

My name is Jon Terrazas and I'm a USA Track & Field and RRCA certified coach.  I am a former U.S. Army Air Defense Artillery Officer and have spent the majority of my adulthood dedicating myself to running and fitness.

I'm happily married with two children and live in Las Vegas, NV.  In the summer, it is very difficult to get mileage in due to the sweltering heat, but luckily we are only 45 minutes away from Mt. Charleston (8,000 + feet in elevation) and 15 minutes from Red Rock Canyon (4,000 feet elevation)

I want to welcome everyone to my RunnerSpace page and hope you find what I have to offer as informative and relative to your running needs.  Thank you and have a great 2008!

2008 OLYMPIC TRIALS - SCOTTY BAUHS (10,000 METERS)

As a Chico State Alumnus, I couldn't be more pleased to see the progression of Scott Bauhs' performances this year from making the X-Country World Championships, to his sub-4:00 minute mile, and ultimately his spectacular "A" standard qualification time in the 10K at the Payton Jordan meet.  His unbelievable season this spring and all that he has accomplished at Chico State has shown that the skies the limit for this Wildcat harrier.  There's a great buzz about his break through year and what he might be capable of achieving on the Fourth of July weekend.  I for one can't wait to see his race in the 10,000 meters and regardless of his placing this weekend, he has done the Wildcat nation proud with all that he has done.  I've included a weblink to a short film that was developed during one of his workouts in preparation to the Olympic Trials.  Please enjoy and for all Chico State fans, give credit where credit is due in celebrating one of our own and his success as a runner and in life.   http://track.flocasts.org/videos/series/view_video/249/67147-episode-10-scotty-b
