Ok - Kerry I guess this is going out to you since we're the only 2 on here so far.  I managed to get in 2 runs this past week - pretty wimpy but better than nothing.  3 miles Tuesday while I was awake during the middle of the day (worked Mon and Tues nights), then 4 miles early Thursday morning with a running buddy.  Neither were excitingly fast, but I ran the whole thing.  A ways to go before Dec 12.  How was your week, running-wise??

managed to run 4 yesterday while I was awake a couple hours between back-to-back night shifts.  was slow but felt pretty good.  I am newly-enamored with my Balega socks - finally had a blister-free run!

anybody else going to contribute to this thing?  I've done well this week - hope it's not too late.  Ran 4 miles again Thursday morning and did 5 yesterday afternoon.  Had to stop and walk a couple times, but I got the distance in.  I tried a new route over here in the new 'hood, and got a bit confused at one point.  Oh well, it was a little extra hill work.  Just going to do three miles this afternoon - am planning to find a one-mile loop, do it 3x and try to keep the same pace.  Let me know how y'all are doing!

Ok, so I totally didn't mean to leave you hanging here. I couldn't get this thing to work for a few days and then I forgot about it and anyway.... blah! So, I ran the OBX half this past weekend. Not too bad, I finsihed in 2:21. Not the goal I was shooting for. I got out of the gate to quick and the bridge crossing at mile 9 was fine on the bridge but caught up with me at mile 11. I'm ready for Kiawah mentally, but trying to figure out how to train these next few weeks. I promise to be better about updating here!

Alright gals (and Ken!) - Don't know about y'all but I'm going to need some encouragment to get in gear and be ready for Kiawah in December.  We've all committed to the race the second time around, so let's get on it.  We can use this group to post runs and see how the others are doing.
