RunnerSpace Nation... we'd love to see your "Awkward Video of the Week" contributions, so we started up a new forum thread to post links to them! Also, don't forget that you can make RunnerSpace Network Site of the Week suggestions, by posting in the forum thread.

As you may have noticed- no RunnerSpace Live this week. We were traveling to the US Nationals meet at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Idaho. Check out the LIVE coverage of the meet on RunnerSpace.com and USATF.org. We'll be back next week with a sweet episode, so don't worry.
Ian Terpin (Jun 24 2010, 08:23 PM)
Just fyi, Ian will be coming out with RSLive tonight or tomorrow morning sometime since he was covering the NWAACC championship on Mon-Tue this week.

Check out our (actually) live shows! We will be live from Villard St. Pub in Eugene, OR every night of the US Championships. Stay tuned after our live feed of the meet, and the show will start immediately following the last event. We will have recaps, interviews, RunnerSpace Live segments, competitions, and more. If you missed it live, they will be archived in the "RS Live at the US Champs 2009" video folder.

Matt & RunnerSpace Live camera man,
I am writing to inform you that, your enemy, nemesis, arch-rival--Keith, is also my enemy/nemesis/arch-rival. Recently, he has taken my Frogger 2 high score away from me in the arcade. But believe me, I will prevail, just as you did in your season finale of RunnerSpace Live. Any advice for defeating this game playing fiend would be greatly appreciated. Btw, I ONLY watch RunnerSpace Live!!

Not to fuel the fire or anything, but can someone post a link to the video. I'm having trouble finding it.
Ian Terpin (May 13 2009, 05:34 PM)
I wouldn't expect anything more from a guy that trains under Cornell coach Robert Johnson. Wyner has been mentored well. He is being groomed to take over letsrun.com
Guest (May 12 2009, 01:49 PM)
haha, I guess I was just thinking less in the vein of "any publicity is good publicity"...awkwardness has a negative connotation as it is, I'd say.
antblock (May 11 2009, 11:44 PM)
I just went and watched that. What a d-bag! I am now going to retract my last post. I hope that guy doesn't get any more publicity from what he pulled. It really wasn't that bad until he turned around and bowed after the race. What an idiot.

RSL: Please don't use that video for the awkward video of the week please. He doesn't deserve it.
Matt (May 11 2009, 09:29 PM)
I heard about that. I hope they use that too.
Matt (May 11 2009, 05:22 PM)
I hope you guys have the common sense to use the Heps 1500 finish from last weekend with Wyner celebrating then bowing to the crowd as it boos him for the awkward video of the week.
antblock (May 11 2009, 04:06 PM)
Not to my knowledge. Would have been good though.
Ian Terpin (May 7 2009, 04:34 AM)
Did anybody dress up as a bottle of syrup in the Eugene Marathon 5K?

I really like standard poodles. most people assume they are like miniature poodles but actually they are closer to labs. They are hunting dogs and are pretty sweet.

The Standard Poodle is an elegant, medium to large-sized dog, with a profuse, but well groomed and clipped, wiry curly coat. The head and muzzle are long. The skull is a bit rounded, with a slight stop. The teeth should form a scissors bite. The ears are wide and hanging close to the head. The eyes are oval and generally very dark. Brown and cafe-au-lait colored Poodles have dark amber eyes, while apricot dogs may have amber eyes, but dark eyes are considered better. The Poodles length from breastbone to rump is approximately the same as the height at the withers. The topline is level except for a slight depression behind the withers. The croup is rounded and the feet are compact, small, and oval. The tail is docked to half the original length. All solid colors are allowed. The coat may be groomed into three basic styles: the "pet clip" (or puppy clip), with relatively short hair all over the entire body, the "English saddle clip," and the "Continental clip," with the rear half of the body shaved, bracelets left around the ankles, and pom-poms left on the tail and hips. The Standard Poodle has a delightful springy gait.

When I think of disturbing images, I think of a bunch of ants ganging up on a leprechaun. It's up to your imagination to fill in the blanks.

Matt Barnhart, youre not supposed to double post. Common forum etiquette. I bet most of these get deleted by the mods. A lot of those are rittled with misspellings and dont make sense either

On a serious note, I want to say that I appreciate all you guys and girls do in producing the show each week. I am pretty active on the site and I still watch the show to find out what went on over the past week. I just hope Matt B doesn't end up getting offered a bigger, more prestigious live show anchorman position for like ESPN Track or even better - hired to take over for Carol Lewis. Don't get me started on her!
