About Event
Sunday October 21st the Speed River Track and Field Club will be hosting Lessons From London an inspiring educational event featuring 5 Olympians Eric Gillis, Reid Coolsaet, Hilary Stellingwerff, Alex Genest and Taylor Milne as well as Olympic hopeful Chris Winter and their coach Dave Scott-Thomas. Each of the athletes will discus their journey to try to represent Canada at the 2012 London Olympic Games which featured incredible success and gut-wrenching heartbreak. The athletes who qualified will discuss their experiences in London and all will discuss what they learned along the path and where they go from here. There are 400 free tickets to this event, and they can be order at http://guestlistapp.com/events/122961, the event will begin at 6 pm at Rozanski Hall on the University of Guelph campus.
