About EventThe Mike Hodges Invitational has become a competitive cross country meet that has had teams such as University of Oregon, Oregon State University, University of Washington, University of Portland, Willamette University as well as many other colleges from the Northwest and colleges across the country. The men’s 4 mile course is held by Galen Rupp at 18:40, and the 5,000 meter course record is held by Amy Begley at 15:49. Course: Flat and fast on grass (about 95%) with only a short segment on pavement and gravel for the men’s race. The races will be 4 miles for men and 5k for women. This is the original course of the New Balance Festival of Champions, which was a nationally rated high school course.
Directions to Clackamas CC: [View Map] From the South – Take I-205 north, which just north of Wilsonville off I-5. Take Exit 10 (Park Place exit) which is just after the Oregon City exit. Take a right at the end of the off-ramp and take Highway 213 south for approximately 3 miles. Take a left at the first light (Beaver Creek Rd) and get in the right hand lane.
