This was my first race in my career I have gone above the 13,000 foot mark. The race is all pavement with climbing most of the way except for two short downhill section near mile 9 and 11. I am pretty good climber but downhills are my weakness. I just took short strides and keep a constant pace. the elevations above 13,000 made my head pound but my leg felt strong. I end up with a time of 2 hours and 20 minutes good for 31st out of 376 runners.  Check out the results at http://www.myentryfee.com/results/Results.aspx
