Vanessa McLeod and Brandon Winters earned spots on the podium for the Boilermakers on the final day of the Big Ten Championships. The Purdue men finished ninth with 56 points while the women were 10th with 37.

Two school records fell on the second day of the Big Ten Outdoor Championships. Andre' Peart shattered a 28-year old record in the 400m hurdles and Dani Bunch demolished the school standard in the shot put en route to a Big Ten title in the event.

The Boilermakers opened up the Big Ten Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Friday. The men's team sits in third place while the women are in eighth after one day of competition.

The Purdue track and field team heads to the outdoor conference championships this weekend. The Boilermakers travel to Columbus, Ohio, for the Big Ten Championships in which they will compete from Friday through Sunday.
