Thanks for the reply, Bob.  I'm definitely envious of your Gorge trip to see Petty.  I was planning on going up for it but a buddy is getting married that day so had to cancel.  True that only racing in the steeple prepares you for it- i've learned to go out at what feels like a really easy pace and it still hurts a ton at the end and I always feel like I'm dying at the end regardless.  Been travelling a ton this summer, racing, and just having a blast.  Need another couple months but here we are in August...stay in touch bro..

Bob-  Great work at the steeple at the all-comers meet.  Why aren't you running it in Spokane?  You'd dominate.
