TRASK!!!

An amazing weekend with nearly 60 Panthers attending the Trask Mt. Assault causing Coach Brown to honor his committment that if 55 were on the team he'd run @ Trask.  (Next year the threshold will be 70!).  So I ran and hoped for under 30 min and was happy w/ the 28min performance (beat the girls...whew).  Led by Ryan Wilson the men's team competed well and had a great time as super heros bringing justice to the world.  Justice was needed after having to witness Paden Snell and Ian Henderson's outfits (or lack thereof) during the Open race.  Bev Schlegel and Rita Aulie were much more modest in their costume design.  It was great having them in the race meeting the team.  Led by Futbol'ers Sarah MacK and Sommer Kirk, the ladies learned about their abilities and where this season can take them as they continue to work hard.  We had outstanding performances everywhere with much of the men's team chopping a minute or more off their time from last year (even though its a month earlier)!!!  South Salem's Saxon invite this Saturday and then our first home meet in two years.  Remember, practice at 1pm on Friday and the bus departs at 6am on Saturday.

Good work tonight at Meet the Panthers, crew.

I'm planning on running around Paulina Lake (long slow run) on Sunday sometime. Late morning or early afternoon. If any of you want to join in and it's cool with Coach Brown, then feel free to join. 7 miles around but you can just run partway around the lake if you want to go shorter.

Heard from athletes that they had a great time! Saw lots of smiles while they were describing the camp. Nice job Brown and staff.

Is this Redmond, OR or WA? I'm guessing Redmond, OR since nobody wants to commute between Diamond Lake and the Seattle Area regularly.

Who I Am...

Always Compete…

As you progress through your sporting life…

Always Compete.

If you want to go for it…

Always Compete

You’re gonna have to make choices in Life and those choices need to be Conscious Decisions.

There’s only one person in Control here and that person is You…

You hold All the cards.  You are the Master of You.  It’s time to admit it…

You have always known this.  So if you’re ready, act on it…

Always Compete.

Don’t you dare try to be Cool, don’t you dare be afraid of Life,

Just “Dare to be Great,” and Let it Rip.

Always be Humble, Always be Kind, Always be Respectful…

Always Compete!

Everything You do counts and screams who You are…there is no hiding from You.

Act as if the Whole World will know who you are…

Always Compete.

Be True to Yourself and Let Nothing hold You back.

Compete to be the Greatest You and that will Always be enough and that will be a Lifetime!

Always Compete.
