My name is Robby Cherry and I love running. I graduated from Westmont College in Santa Barbara with a bachelor's degree in Math. I am currently assistant coaching and earning a masters degree in Education at Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN. In my spare time I run. I run, run, and run some more. I'm currently training for the marathon and will probably be running either the Chicago Marathon or the inaugural Santa Barbara International marathon. I am running with the ambition of qualifying for the Olympic trials in 2012. 

Ultimately, my goal is to worship God in everything I do. I believe that running can be a form of worship if you approach it correctly. Also I hope that my running will lead to friendships and a network of people who I can enjoy life with. Running has given me so much, with regards to friendships. Another important goal for me is to motivate and inspire others. I hope that I can lead others to share the joy I have for the sport. 

I am pursuing a career as a college coach. I feel this would be a good fit for me because I love running, I am a seeker of knowledge, and I love to see others find joy in what they do. I owe a lot of my passion for coaching to my coaches, most notably Russell Smelley.

Tahoe Relays in 2 months and 6 days.

Not much to say so far. But we are working on completing our final roster for this years Peloton.
