Panther XC Classic

Backing up last weeks upset of the SS Saxons, the panthers beat South on a 6th place runner tie breaker.  James Hull led the way as the slow course added about 1:30 to the times from last week.  Long grass and high altitude contribute to the fun.  Hay bales in the first 100m and a "steeple pit" on loop #1 made a flat course much more fun as the sunshine didn't disappoint either.  The boy's were the inaugural champions besting CVC rival S.Salem on said 6th place tie breaker.  On the ladies' side Bend paced the way winning the meet.  With Soccer players playing in a game, Elissa Brouillard paced the panthers with an 11th place finish.  Back to the guys, Cruz Brigham shocked the world with a 7th place JV finish that was a PR dispite the slow course.  You can call him butter because he was "ON A ROLL"!
