Who I Am...

Team Red Lizard is a running club based in Portland, Oregon; with members from all over the Portland Metro are, across the USA, and even with a few international members.

TRL offers five group training runs per week. Runs include a track workout, a hill workout, and three runs appropriate for tempo or recovery runs. There is a strong social element to our group runs as well.

The club also offers intra-club competitions including the Summer Race Series, the Tour de Goose, and participates as a club in area XC races and other club-based competitions including the Boston Marathon.

Team Red Lizard offers a variety of volunteer opportunities both community-based and related to running. TRL provides pacers for the Portland Marathon as well as running the Mile 24 Aid Station, runs with dogs from the Multnomah County Animal Shelter once a month and volunteering once a month at the Blanchet House, a local shelter serving food to those in need.

Social events for the club include First Friday, held the first Friday of each month at the Lucky Lab on SE Hawthorne; plus a variety of post-race get-togethers and the occasional race road trip.

You don't have to be a member to participate in group runs or social events. Everyone is welcome!

Paces represent anything from 6:00-10:00 on training runs.
