I transfered to University of Oregon in the fall of 2007, where I got an amazing apporotunity to train with UO cross country team. During cross country season I raced twice because I came in late into the season. I look forward to track season and hopefully I will get to run some races come spring time. I really want to say that I am an 800m runner, but everyone keeps trying to convince me I should run 1500/5k. And as of now, those events might actually be my main races in the upcoming track season. Running definitely takes up a lot of my time but school is equally important to me. I am a junior and getting closer and closer to finishing up my degree. I am majoring in Human Physiology with a minor in Business. The classes I am taking are hard, but are really fun and I can apply what I learn to running. Most people already know this but I am originally from Irkutsk, Russia. Moved to Eugene, Oregon seven years ago, but people still notice a slight accent I have. I went to Churchill High school where my running career began, did track and cross country all 4 years (xc 3 years). Besides running also enjoyed doing tripple jump and did pretty good for not concentrating on that event. After graduating high school, went to Lane CC where I also ran track and xc. I had a great time there, and without that I wouldn't be where I am today.
