Event Description
Join us for the running tradition in Eugene that features a chocolate truffle at the finish and supports a great cause, Committed Partners for Youth Bolder Options Mentoring Program.


Distances

This event features a 4 Mile run, a 2 Mile run/walk and a Kids fun run.

Location
Alton Baker Park - Eugene, Oregon.

Directions
In Eugene, take Coburg Road to Martin Luther King Blvd, turn east to Country Club Road, turn south and then immediately into the park.


Courses

The 4 mile and 2 mile events are flat, fast and scenic, starting and finishing near the pavilions. The courses follow park roads and bike paths through the park, along the Willamette River. Click here for the 2 MILE COURSE MAP. Click here for the 4 MILE COURSE MAP.


Entry Fees

Through February 2 (with shirt): Adult ($20), Student 12 & Over ($15), Children 11 & Under ($10). From February 3 through February 7, add $5 to each option. On race day, February 8, add $10 to each option. Event long-sleeve cotton t-shirts are included in the entry fee, however, a non-shirt option is available by deducting $5. The kids fun run is free, while children's cotton t-shirts can be purchased for $10 each.


Registration

By mail, postmarked no later than February 1st. In person: Eugene Running Company (116 Oakway Center), The Nike Store, and the CPY office (1840 Willamette St, Suite 100). Click here for an ENTRY FORM. Click here for ONLINE REGISTRATION. Online registration closes at 12 noon on Saturday, February 7. Race day registration closes at 12:45pm.


Awards

Awards will be presented in the 4 mile and 2 mile runs to the top three overall male and female finishers and the winner in each age group - there will be no duplicate awards. All fun run participants will receive ribbons. All participants will be eligible for random prize drawings. PLEASE NOTE: Age group awards will be mailed to award winners - there will not be an awards ceremony on race day.

10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & Over


Event Benefit

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Committed Partners For Youth Bolder Options program. For more information, log onto Committed Partners for Youth or call 541-344-0833.


Team Competition

In the 4 mile and 2 mile runs, teams can have an unlimited number of members, with the 5 fastest finishers counting in the team scoring. In the 2 mile walk, teams will be scored based upon the greatest number of participants. Teams must register in person or by mail - all team members must submit entries together. The top team in each division will receive an award. Team divisions include: Business, Non-Profit Agencies, Schools and Open.
