Hey, this is Rob.  I am a retired runner who can't seem to get enough track, even though I competed from the age of 10!  I am lucky enough to have grown up in Oregon where running is actually revered and celebrated.  After high school I continued to race at Colorado State University, then followed my best friend to Palo Alto, where I joined the Nike Farm Team.  I learned more about running and myself from Gags than any other coach I'd ever had.  After the 2004 Trials I moved to Eugene, started grad school, and raced for a final year in 2007.  Real life and old age seem to be the biggest impediments to the continuation of my competitive career, but a good 5k or the Hood to Coast keeps me going.  All I can say is that I'm probably the best 200 pounder I know!
