Who I Am...

Running is my life. Not only do I train and compete around the country, I am the head cross country coach for a small college in Billings, MT called Rocky Mountain College. We are are an NAIA college that just completed our second year in school history.The Women's team placed 3rd in conference and the Men placed 4th. On the women's side, I had a young ladie qualify for nationals. She has two, possbily three more seasons to compete so she should make the trip for a couple of years.

I train for marathons and last year placed 9th at the California International Marathon with a 2:29. This spring the goal is to run sub 2:25. Hopefully if all goes well in the upcomming month.

Am I ready?

I'm gearing up for USA Club XC today I had a good workout. This was the workout, I hope I am ready...I havn't got the training in that I'd like. I just have to go out and run anyways...What do you think? Am I ready?

10 min warm up and stretch

1mile=5:30
2min rest
1mile=5:25
2min rest
1mile=5:20
2min rest
1mile=5:15
2min rest
1mile=5:10
2min rest
1mile=5:05
2min rest
1mile=5:00

10 min cool down and stretch

Unfortunately I had to do the wourkout on the treamill @ 1% incline because of the icy roads.

no but i want a college that can set me up for proffesional running after college or while in college

my times for XC are ok i guess . theyre around 21-22; depending on the course and what the weather is like...

oh and i just got back from the junior olympics national cross country championships where my club team fedral way track club won =] and i placed 30th

oh i run a 19:50 5k and next year i plan to break 19
and my track times are over a year old so my goals are to run 5:10 1600 and 2:15 800
