Thanks everyone for your love and care. Well, as this disease of the brain goes, Lynn has made a little come back from Saturday, but is still showing the peculiar symptoms of this disease which systematically shuts down the brain. According to the nurse and the literature that we have been given, she is very close to the end of her life. I believe she's hanging on for some reason, maybe our 42nd anniversary on today, June 6th. I don't know.........but she almost went early last Saturday upon my return from a Nebo run. She's hangin' in there today. Gradually losing coordination and recognition. We were up all night last night. She was very agitated (one of the Glio B. symptoms). No sleep until a hospice worker and Aaron held her hand and sat with her until 3:00 P.M. today. Then 5 hours of sleep.
We'll see how tonight goes with Jeni sleeping next to her. We may end up spelling each other for the night. Prayers are asked for, as this is the toughest duty that we have ever encountered. This summit has a vertical rock top. Thanks Coyotes for all of your encouragement. May the suffering of this dear wife, mom, and grandmother stop soon. I love you my love, and today I celebrate 42 years of marriage with you. What more could a man want, except to somehow go with you.
Love, David
