It’s not often that a rising high school senior tells her parents that she wants to move half-way across the country to attend a new school for her senior year; but that is exactly what Tessa Riley of Midlothian High School did last June and it’s paying huge dividends for her running career. 

Tessa, an aspiring artist with a gregarious personality, appears to have made the right choice.  Her academic record, illustrating talents and running prowess have helped her quickly earn the opportunity to represent Wake Forest University this coming fall as a member of their cross country and track & field teams...
