I officiated the long jump and triple jump at the Mike Poehlin Invitational at Purdue.  It took nearly 8 hours to get through both events for the men an women.  I worked with Phil Dant, Rose Edmonds, Kelly Helm, and Rose Edmonds.  This was my second meet officating, both times with the long jump and triple jump, and both times with Phil and Rose.  They're great to work with and a wealth of knowlege.

I stuck the pit for the womens long, and called the board for the men's.  The Notre Dame coach got on me for a second when his athlete fouled on the board and didn't agree with my call.  I wish could have called it fair because it was a really nice jump.  I read the measurement for the women's triple, then stuck the pit again for the men's triple.
