Being knowledgeable about the human anatomy and physiology of your body is a great way to stay injury-free. All athletes need to follow a very specific training regimen if they are to stay injury free. For example, the coach tells the athlete to complete stretching exercises prior to the start of any running activity. The question is: Which type of stretching exercise should be accomplished first? My answer: Perform dynamic stretching exercises prior to starting any running activity, and complete your workout by performing static stretching exercises to rid your body of the lactic acid that is still present in the muscles. I've found that my athletes stay injury free when they follow this specific routine to the letter.

What exactly is an example of an injury-free training program? I would think any program would be considered injury free.
