In many events thanks to the out of state competitors and the fact that we run all classes together this meet is much more competitive than even the KHSAA State meet. Frank Miklavcic, Executive Director of the KTCCCA, calls the meet a “great opportunity for Kentucky schools to go head to head regardless of class at the state meet site.”

We have over 60 teams entered, with schools representing KY, IN, OH, and TN. There are 11 schools from out of Kentucky. A total of 1737 athletes are entered to compete. The entry list in almost every event looks like a who’s who of the state individual rankings. There are lots of great match-ups in the individual events. Here is a link to all of the preliminary entries. http://www.ktccca.or...Eastern_Relays/ That same link will have live results posted throughout the day Friday and Saturday.

All ten of the top 10 boy’s 3A teams in the KYTrackXC.com Power Rankings will be represented. Male, North Hardin, St. X, and Ballard lead those rankings. The top 2 AA schools, North Oldham and Central will also challenge. Class A’s Holy Cross should also make a run at the big schools with distance stars Jacob Thomson and Dominic Perronie leading the way. On the girls side nine of the top 10 AAA schools will be competing led by Sacred Heart, DuPont Manual, Oldham Co., and Assumption in what should be a very close team competition. AA’s #2 team Central and A’s #1 Newport Central Catholic will be in the fight as well.

Great out of state competition will come from Ohio's Withrow, LaSalle, and McAuley. There are also great competitors from Indiana and Tennessee.
"104147":
Preliminary entries are posted here
