\nPerhaps its just the nostalgia on my part but the course is built on a farm formerly owned by KU coaching legend Bob Timmons. The land is used solely as a cross country course and it is extremely well maintained. The course features some of the most scenic running I have ever seen with changes in elevation, plenty of tress, ponds, bridges and hills. It has been decorated with several silhouettes of KU running legends Billy Mills, Jim Ryun, Wes Santee, etc\u0085

Therefore, that 15:08 is not the actual meet record.
