\nEditor's Note: It\u0092s official! Bishop Feehan standout Abbie McNulty has decided to continue her outstanding academic and athletic career at Division I program Stanford University. It was confirmed early this morning by head coach Bob L\u0092Homme that McNulty will take her talents to the west coast to compete for the Cardinals, a consistent Div. 1 power. "When I went out to visit Stanford, I fell in love with the campus, the weather, the school, the running program, coaches, and team. There wasn't an aspect of the school that i didnt like. The only thing that made me think twice was the distance, but I was able to to realize all of the amazing opportunities available, and the distance didn't matter. I believe Stanford is the place where i can reach my full potential academically and athletically," McNulty said)

The golf course is said to be 5k but I don't think anyone believes that. After looking at the results last Sat. in WMa things looked a bit too quick.
\n
\n Abbie has about a half-doz talented people to push her and if she let's it go I have little doubt she can break 17min's. But it is too bad this "championship" course may not be a legit 5000.
\n
\n Last weekend 800 runner Karina Shepard improved her pr (running #2 behind Abbie) by like a min. She has moved from the Gatorade T&F outdoor AOY to All-scholastic in CC as well in all likelihood.","date_added":"Nov 13th 2013, 4:56am","nest":0,"liked":false,"member":[],"can_delete":false,"item_id":195925,"item_type":"news","pb_image":"i\/no_avatar.png","pb_title":"ProFromDover","pb_url":"profile.php?member_id=51257","pb_url_dns":"https:\/\/Smythington.runnerspace.com\/","pb_wally_id":"1237794"}},"last_id":"911679","url":"comments.php?item_type=news&item_id=195925&item_url=eprofile.php?event_id=1119"}
