I am an out of shape mom who lives to help kids run. I live in North Dakota and can be found, at any, and all, track and cross country meets. I am a college basketball fan at heart, go Gonzaga!! I have not ran since the sixth grade, I eat at too many fast food restaurants, I hardly ever have my hair fixed, or my clothes changed, but I will do just about any favor you ask me to do... My oldest son is a Senior and my youngest a sophomore, when they are gone I will find other people kids to replace them, HAHA! My goal is to know every great runner in the Heartland and cheer every single one of them on!

How to live a Perfect Day

I know nothing about running but I am organized and resourceful. I believe in eight hours of sleep nightly, one Flintstone vitamin, no excuses, grades in school are number one, turn off the Xbox, don't vote for Obama (oh, that slipped out)! I would imagine that if I were a runner, I would use an imaginary rope to keep up with my teammates, I would google the course for next week and at bedtime I would invision myself running around every single knoll, and turn, taking the time to smell the grass, notice the trees, hear the birds, I would run free and count every step that I took and challenge myself to run with someone new and faster every week. I would imagine myself winning that race, and how effortlessly it was, how proud of myself that I was healthy enough to compete in this sport, how proud I was of myself for running and trying to do something that some will never have the chance to do. Every time I run I will do it for that person who cannot walk, I will prove to them that life is to short to waste and that every day when I wake up I have a purpose that is greater than myself, and that I will succeed, and, if I never run that race, or win that race, or enter that race, I still want to make a difference. I have a saying that I repeat every day,

You have never lived a perect day, until you have done something, for someone, who will never be able to repay you.

I want to live a Perfect Day!
