PRINCETON, N.J. - The Seton Hall track and field women’s team placed ninth and the men finished 22nd at the IC4A/ECAC Outdoor Championships. Senior Greg Gomes (Somerset, N.J.) was the Pirates’ lone victorious athlete at the competition.
Gomes improved his NCAA Regional time and set a new personal-best time of 46.42 in the finals of the 400-meter dash to earn his fifth overall championship of the season.
For the women, sophomore Toneisha Friday (Somerset, N.J.) recorded an NCAA Regional time of 54.12 in the 400-meter dash, as she went on to place third.
