2011 NAIA Women's Cross Country All-Americans Announced
Top-30 finishers at Fort Vancouver Historic Site earned the honor

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the 2011 Women’s Cross Country All-Americans on Monday. The top-30 individual finishers at the 32nd Annual NAIA Women’s Cross Country National Championships held Nov. 19 at the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site in Vancouver, Wash., were bestowed with the accolade.

National champion Obsie Birru of Grand View (Iowa) headlines the honorees as the only four-time All-American. The Des Moines, Iowa, native, posted finishes of 18th, eighth and third before winning it all as a senior.

A trio of individuals earned their third nod: senior Lauren Jimison of Azusa Pacific (Calif.), Eastern Oregon junior Karlee Coffey and Caitlin Villarreal, a senior at Cal State San Marcos.

Nine runners became two-time All-Americans, while 17 others posted their first top-30 finish.
