Bears' relay quartet fastest-ever

It was unofficial because it came in a post-meet exhibition race, but the St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Bears' senior boys' 4-by- 100-metre relay team posted the fastest time ever recorded at Cundari Field during the Nipissing Invitational meet, Saturday.

The 2011 Bears' relay team -- Gabe Hamilton, Jeremy Poeta, Spencer Brooks and Isaac Sullivan -- already holds the all-time NDA record, having circled the track in 44.43 seconds last year.
