Minnesota junior Obsa Ali ran a collegiate-leading 8:36.49 to win the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Division 1 West Regionals at Sacramento State. Ali won a section that produced the top four Division 1 performances this season, leading all qualifiers to the NCAA championship meet at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore.
