Kansas junior Bryce Hoppel won the men's 800-meter title in 1:46.46 at the NCAA Division 1 Indoor Championships at the CrossPlex in Birmingham, Ala. Hoppel, who placed eighth last year, became the first Kansas male athlete to win the national indoor championship in the 800.
