Manny Fernandez, Anthony Alfaro, Tre Waters, Jose Melchor, Hector Peralta, Ben Gonzalez and Ralph Mendoza helped Mt. SAC win its third consecutive title at the Mt. SAC Invitational, producing the lowest point total since the course was reconfigured in 2000 by prevailing 18-72 over Hartnell College. Fernandez won in 20:42.1 for Mt. SAC, which clocked 105:31, the second-fastest team time on the 4-mile course since 2000. The Mounties won three in a row for the first time since 2000-02.
