UCLA freshman Sondre Guttormsen cleared an indoor personal-best 18-9.75 (5.73m) to win the men's pole vault at the New Mexico Don Kirby Elite Indoor Invitational at Albuquerque Convention Center. Guttormsen increased the Norwegian indoor record, ascending to the No. 3 collegiate performer this season and No. 9 in the world this year.
