The craziest thing I ever saw

In 9th grade i ran a 90% of a cross country race in one shoe, Though it wasn't quite a 1:50 performance.

I was there.  That shoe flew!  I had to look at all the runners' feet that just made their hand-offs to determine that the shoeless runner was still in the race.  Quick thinking, huh?
