Cal sophomore Camryn Rogers set the Canadian U-23 record in the women's invitational hammer throw, placing second at the 25th Beach Invitational at Long Beach State's Jack Rose Track. Rogers, the reigning World U-20 champion, produced a personal-best 224-8 (68.48m) in the first round to improve on her previous-best 221-1 (67.40m) from April 6 at the Big Meet at Stanford's Cobb Track and Angell Field.
