PREFONTAINE CLASSIC, GOLDEN GALA TOP ALL-ATHLETICS.COM COMPETITION RANKINGS

Two of the Samsung Diamond League meetings, the Prefontaine Classic in Eugene and the Compeed Golden Gala in Roma, top the competition rankings at All-Athletics.com in the 'nvitational/One-Day Competitions categor.

The Prefontaine Classic, which was second in last year's final rankings, could not reach its huge 2011 competition score (94377), but it still leads the current ranking with 93843 points.  The Golden Gala improved significantly from last year (92500) to 93167 points and is now in second place, ahead of the Diamond League meeting Doha which has 92677 points in third place.

The best non-DL meet so far is Ostrava Golden Spike (6th).

This year the All-Athletics.com ranking includes those meetings which reach at least 57600 points. So far 366 meetings are listed in this category and the number is increasing day by day.
