Galen Rupp and his coach, Alberto Salazar, will wait until the last possible moment to decide whether they will run what they hope will be a very fast 10,000 meters Friday night in the Oregon Relays at Hayward Field or Saturday at Stanford in the Payton Jordan Cardinal Invitational.

"We definitely won't decide until Thursday," Salazar said. "And we could even decide on Friday. On Friday morning we'll do one, last check. If all things are fine, we'll run in Eugene, If the weather turns again, we have tickets to fly to the Bay Area.
