As for the issue of At Large State Entrants who do not make it into the State Meet, there are too many kids not fairly being able to move further into the state competition pool of competitors! The old system is broken and a sense of fair play and odds should be equally likely that these kids move on to the state level! Every year the Division 1 thru Division 4 competition is getting more uneven! I go to meets where one division may take four to five kids while another division does not take any kids because the pace is not as fast! The state leader in a weak division is told by his or her coach to take it out to make sure they qualif for.

the North Coast Section has to go back having 4 allowed entries due to there dominance in many events such as the 400, long and triple jumps and the hurdles.
The OAL and San Francisco sections must go back to the old format where they competed against each other. Check the times and with a -2.7 headwind in the 100 and 200! If someone knows why this changed please let me know. Or make it easier by placing both of them in the NCS and adding the NCS 2 entries which would make it 5. please someone comment....
