Blue Dragons burn up the course

OTTAWA — Brighton's East Northumberland Secondary School Blue Dragons completed another successful cross country season at the 2011 Ontario Federation of School Athletic Association championships in Ottawa on Saturday.  

Nick Vachon had the best East Northumberland finish of the day as he was 21st in the junior boys race. Vachon, along with teammates Jacob Schmidt, Ryan McGale, Chris Howard and Malcolm Prue were the 33rd overall team in the junior boys division.

Taylor Goodyear had an impressive 33rd placing in midget boys as he and his teammates, Braden Rumpel (110th), Spencer Hayward (127th), Quin Dibbits (148th) and Darion Sweet(227th) were 15th in the team competition.
