Three time Olympic medalist, Allyson Felix is chasing after her first individual gold medal. Just out of high school, at the age of 18, Felix won a silver medal at the 2004 Olympic Games. Then in 2008, in Beijing, Felix won silver in the individual 200 meter race and a gold medal as a member of the 4X4 relay team. Knowing how it feels to fall short of the gold keeps Felix motivated throughout her training as she prepares for London. Felix's coach, Bob Kersee has been a key influence throughout her career. Coach Kersee has taught Allyson that being the fastest runner is a process, it's not going to happen overnight. To keep an even mind with the pressures associated with training for the Olympics, Allyson uses her faith. Having a strong faith has helped Felix keep things in perspective and keep a clear mind through her journey. We will see Felix couple in just a couple of weeks at the U.S. Track and Field Trials in Eugene, Oregon.
