Blue Ridge (Arizona) junior Sky Martel won the boys small school race at the Desert Twilight Festival, helping the Yellowjackets take sixth overall. Martel covered the 5-kilometer course at Grande Sports Complex in Casa Grande in 16:19.5, an improvement of 17 seconds from last year's meet, to secure his third victory of the season.
