Record win for Gryphon men

GUELPH — The Guelph Gryphons captured the OUA cross-country championship banner in record style Saturday afternoon at The Arboretum.

Led by first-place finisher Alex Genest, the Gryphs set a record for the best team finish ever at the event as Guelph runners finished first, second, third, fourth and sixth in the 10-kilometre men’s race.

“It was a good day to race and a great day for Guelph. Good job team!” said Genest after his winning run.
