Simi Valley: Anchored by Sarah Baxter, Simi Valley won the girls distance medley on Friday with a time of 12 minutes, 13.84 seconds, the second-fastest time in the nation this season. Simi Valley was second in the girls 4x800 relay in 9:34.49, which ranks No. 2 in the state. Baxter won the girls 1,600 in 5:02.76. Erika Barr was third in the girls 1,600 in 5:14.34. In the boys distance medley, Simi Valley was sixth in 11:04.70. On Saturday, Logan Meikle won the boys shot put at 46 feet, 6 inches, and was second in the discus at 137-4. Tanner Geiger was third at 45-4. Travis Goodwin placed third in the boys 300 hurdles in 41.59. Amanda Hamilton was second in the girls 300 hurdles in 47.80. Madisen Richards was third in the girls 100 in 12.60.

Thousand Oaks: Karsen Sper won the girls long jump at 16-4.75. Tommy Lopez won the boys 800 in 1:56.92 and third in the 1,500 in 4:22.09. Melanie Joerger was runner-up in the girls 3,200 in 11:15.58 and fourth in the 1,600 in 5:15.52. Caitlin Turner won the girls 800 in 2:17.43. Sam Worley was ninth in the boys 3,200 in 9:36.61.
