FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. After a tightly-packed race on a small track, Arkansas’ 4x800-meter relay took the title win at the 101st Millrose Games Friday night. The event was aired live on ESPN2.

Clocking a time of 7:34.18, the Razorbacks took the win from a field that included Villanova (7:35.45), Georgetown (7:39.97), Columbia (7:43.76), George Mason (7:45.96), Cornell (7:47.23) and Seton Hall (7:56.96).

Daniel LaCava led off with a 1:53.6 and handed to Chris Bilbrew in the lead. Bilbrew, splitting a 1:54.9, lost the lead to Villanova and Georgetown but reclaimed it to hand to Andy McClary. Keeping the pace and the lead, Andy ran a 1:53.3 to hand his brother Alex. Alex anchored with a 1:52.0 split to take the tape.
