2015 Heat Sheets
Dear COACHES--
Below are some very important details for coaches, followed by the alternates list, the final time schedule and the UPDATED school-by-school list of accepted entries.
IMPORTANT NOTES & REMINDERS:
* No phone calls or texts will be answered. If you are the HEAD COACH and have any questions, you can only EMAIL your query to [email protected] . Due to the sheer volume of queries, no contact from assistant coaches or parents will be replied to.
* FINAL MEET SCHEDULE -- Attached below. Any athlete that misses their assigned race on either day will not be allowed to race in a later heat.
* SCRATCHES -- Please email your scratches to the meet director at [email protected] . If you are scratching from a lane race, we will fill the lane with an alternate (see below). Any scratch made from here forward will still be charged on the team entry fee, but allows another deserving athlete to fill the lane.
* ALTERNATES LIST -- See below. The order in which names appear on the Alternates List is NOT the order in which the alternates are ranked. Disregard the order of listing as it has no revelance.
* ENTRY FEE AMOUNTS -- Included in the Accepted Entries school-by-school lists below, with two exceptions: (1) If you have surpassed the entry fee cap, just pay up to the cap. (2) If you have an entry on the Alternates List, subtract the amount of that entry from your team total. Alternates are only charged if they end up competing in that event. The breakdown on Entry Fees for 2015 can be found on the "Coaches Info" tab at http://www.arcadiainvitational.org Fees are due at packet pickup on the day of the meet.
* PAYING YOUR FEES -- We WILL NOT be handling online payment of entry fees until thre 2016 meet. We had a late major challenge arise which made it unfeasible to implement this year. Entry fees can be paid at packet pickup. School check or cash preferred, please.
* NO SUBSTITUTIONS -- In all events except relays, you MAY NOT substitute one of your athletes for another. Any team violating this rule will have their remaining entries barred from the meet and the school will face a one-year ban from the meet.
* HEAT SHEETS -- Available online starting Wednesday.
* SPAGHETTI DINNER -- Reviving an old tradition, those athletes that qualify into the Saturday night Invitational portion of the meet and up to two coaches are invited to a free spaghetti dinner in the school cafeteria after their competition. More details will be in the Coaches Final Instructions packet.
* FINAL INSTRUCTIONS -- On Tuesday, head coaches will be emailed a document with final meet instructions (packet pick-up details, event check-in procedures, spike-length requirements, etc.)
FOUR DOCUMENTS BELOW, IN THE ORDER YOU SHOULD VIEW THEM
1) Final Time Schedule -- Pair the event codes on the schedule with those that appear on your entries to find out which session(s) you are in and the event times.
2) Alternates List -- View this BEFORE you view your entries so that you can see if any of your "entries" are actually alternates for the time being.
3) School-By-School Acceptances for Girls -- Self-explanatory.
4) School-By-School Acceptances for Boys -- Self-explanatory.
