About Event

(Walnut, CA) Another historic event happened today in Hilmer Lodge Stadium (Mt. SAC Campus), when an estimated crowd of over 1,600 came out to greet the World's Fastest Human, Usain Bolt. Bolt started the day with a short speech and then presented a clinic on running mechanics and drills to the large crowd. The free clinic and autograph session was presented by Puma and the Mt. SAC Special Events.

Usain Bolt is the world's fastest human and currently holds the 100M (9.58 seconds), 200M (19.19 seconds) and 4X100M (Jamaica 37.04 seconds) world records. Along with his numerous records, he also posseses 3 Olympic and 5 World Championship Gold Medals. Bolt, one of the most recognizable athletes in the world, is known for his exuberance, fun attitude, extreme running speed and famous Bolt pose.

Hilmer Lodge Stadium on the campus of Mt. San Antonio College, is one of the most historic venues for track and field in the world. The stadium has played host to a number of historic events since it's dedication in 1948, by then California Congressman and later U.S. President, Richard M. Nixon. The stadium is the site of 20 world records in track and field, annually hosts the world famous Mt. SAC Relays and Mt. SAC Cross Country Invitational and has been the host of 2 U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials.
